Project Overview

Following a devastating hurricane that impacted the Island of Saipan, AMPCO rapidly mobilized personnel, equipment, and resources overseas to support emergency recovery operations. Working for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, AMPCO deployed a workforce of more than 75 personnel, including management staff, equipment operators, truck drivers, mechanics, and support personnel to assist with critical recovery efforts.

The project required the coordination and transportation of personnel, heavy equipment, trucking resources, and logistical support to a remote island environment under challenging conditions. AMPCO’s teams worked to restore critical infrastructure, remove storm debris, and support emergency response operations necessary to aid the island’s recovery.

Through strategic planning, rapid mobilization, and effective field execution, AMPCO successfully delivered disaster recovery services while helping restore essential services and support the affected communities.
