Project Overview
Following a catastrophic fire that destroyed approximately 1.2 million square feet of industrial facilities in Ontario, California, AMPCO was selected by Clarion Partners to lead demolition, environmental compliance, and recovery operations at one of the largest fire-damaged structures in California history.
AMPCO was brought in during the early stages of the recovery effort to provide engineering support, project planning, cost controls, logistics management, and demolition services. AMPCO also assisted local fire department personnel during emergency response operations to help contain and stabilize the site following the fire.
Due to the scale of the damage and environmental sensitivities associated with the facility, all work was performed under strict environmental regulations, waste characterization requirements, and disposal protocols. Through strategic planning and efficient execution, AMPCO safely demolished the entire facility, managed debris removal and disposal operations, and completed rough grading activities to prepare the site for future construction.
