Project Overview
AMPCO successfully completed demolition and site redevelopment activities at the Auto Club Speedway, located on the former Kaiser Steel Facility site in Fontana, California. The project involved the demolition of existing grandstands, racetrack infrastructure, site improvements, and extensive underground utility systems across approximately 200 acres.
A major component of the project included the removal of approximately 15 miles of underground utility and transmission piping throughout the site. AMPCO also performed large-scale material processing and recycling operations, crushing approximately 250,000 tons of concrete on-site for beneficial reuse and redevelopment purposes.
Through careful planning, efficient project execution, and extensive equipment resources, AMPCO safely completed demolition and site preparation activities to support future development of the property.
