AMPCO performed excavation and material export operations for the Culver Studios Expansion project in Culver City, California. The project required the construction of a three-level subterranean basement to support the expansion of one of Southern California’s most iconic entertainment and studio campuses.
The scope included excavation, material handling, spoil export, and site logistics within a densely developed urban environment. AMPCO exported approximately 350,000 cubic yards of material while maintaining an aggressive production schedule that averaged more than 250 bottom-dump truckloads per day.
Through careful coordination, efficient trucking operations, and strategic project management, AMPCO successfully delivered the excavation program while supporting the project’s demanding schedule and site constraints.
